Channel Sales Manager  

DESCRIPTION

The focus of the position is extending and managing the Channel sales organization and to maximize profitable revenue growth by driving the identification and development of performing Resellers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Minimum of 10 years in technical/sales management and business development experience in sales, engineering/ERP/PLM software
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in managing and growing a channel in the mid range CAD/PLM environment
  • Excellent knowledge of the CAD/PLM marketplace, engineering applications and the consultative sales process
  • Channel experience in the mid range CAD markets - e.g. Solidworks, Autodesk
  • Positioning the Channel value proposition in the mid range CAD market for the entry level CAE solution SimOffice
  • Strong recruitment capabilities of new resellers
  • Advanced teamwork (local and remote)
  • Ability to make sales/technical presentation/demonstrations to large and small groups
  • Ability to build and work with executive level contacts within potential resellers
  • Advanced verbal, written, interpersonal communication skills
  • General knowledge of sales/support automation tools
  • Advanced organizational and negotiation skills
  • Ability to travel domestic up to 70% of the time
  • Professional appearance and presentation
  • Must be self-motivated, demonstrate initiative, demonstrate leadership in prioritizing tasks, exhibit good time management skills and be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
