Paolo Guglielmini has been appointed CEO of MSC Software in October 2017, after leading the acquisition from Hexagon AB in 2017 and the subsequent integration phase. Since joining Hexagon in 2010, Paolo served in multiple roles in business development, product management and M&A, ultimately as EVP of Business Development. He has been highly instrumental in leading Hexagon's evolution from a leader in dimensional metrology to a provider of software-centric quality solutions across the lifecycle. Previously, Paolo served as Consultant at Accenture in the Technology practise and Project Leader at CERN (the European Organization for Nuclear Research). Paolo holds an MSc. in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from the IMD Business School.

Brian Shepherd

Brian Shepherd is currently senior vice president for software solutions at Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence and CTO of MSC Software. In these roles, Mr. Shepherd has the responsibility for the coordinated strategies and synergies across the application software portfolio of Hexagon MI addressing the lifecycle quality initiatives for discrete manufacturers operating in the Industry 4.0 era. Previously, Brian Shepherd held several different executive roles at PTC over 20 years including leadership of product management, the worldwide product development organization, and the enterprise PLM business segment. Prior to PTC, Mr. Shepherd served for ten years at Nortel Networks as a member of the scientific staff and a manager of product integrity.

Doug Neill, VP Product Development

Doug Neill besitzt über über zwanzig Jahre Erfahrung in der Entwicklung von Engineering-Methoden und ist international als Experte in aeroelastischer Optimierung anerkannt. Neill begann seine Karriere bei Northrop Grumman, wo er Tools für die interdisziplinäre Strukturoptimierung entwickelte. Diese kamen bei der Gestaltung einer Reihe von Luftfahrzeugen zum Einsatz, beispielsweise beim YF-23 Fighter. Neill hat umfangreiche Berufserfahrung als leitender Angestellter und trug technische Verantwortung bei Unternehmen in der Simulationsbranche. Dazu gehören Unternehmen wie Universal Analytics (UAI) und The MacNeal Group. Er sammelte dort fundierte Expertise im Bereich multidisziplinärer Analysen und bei der Entwicklung von Finite-Elemente (FE)-Solvern wie NASTRAN, Marc, Dyna oder Dytran. Neill hat einen Bachelor of Science in Luft-und Raumfahrttechnik von der University of Washington.

Michael Lambert, Vice President, Americas

Mr. Lambert leads MSC's business across North and South America. Coming to MSC after four very successful years in sales management at Parametric Technology Corporation, a leading computer-aided design and product lifecycle management firm focused on medical device, high-tech and manufacturing industries, he uniquely combines an awareness of our clients' product development challenges, skill at executive relationship-building, and the managerial discipline to lead his team to a new level of operational excellence and productivity. Prior to his service to PTC, Mr. Lambert contributed for nearly a decade in multiple capacities at IBM, capped by three years as client manager in the OEM automotive industry. His understanding of the aerospace industry comes firsthand from his pre-IBM tenure as a U.S. Marine Corps officer leading various organizations in fixed-wing jet maintenance and supply chain operations. Mr. Lambert holds a Distinguished B.S. in Honors Mathematics from the U.S. Naval Academy.

Mr.Bouchiba is an international executive known for his strategic and operational focus with 20 years of technical, sales and management experience in the CAE Software business. He joined MSC in November 1998 as the Technical Manager in France and demonstrated continuous success in his roles as French Country Manager, EMEA Technical VP, EMEA VP for the Enterprise Business and finally the VP for General Business. Kais is the executive sponsor of strategic relationships with many of MSC's key customers. Prior to joining MSC, Kais spent 9 years with the French Ansys support Distributor where he held the position of Chief Scientist. He holds a Grandes Ecoles Award Master of Science and Engineering Degree from the National School of Electricity and Mechanics, member of the National Polytechnic Institute of Lorraine.

Mr. Kato is a pioneer in the Japanese CAE market. He has over 25 years experience in the CAE industry and over 30 years in FEM. Mr. Kato started his career with Cray Research Inc. as a Structural Analysis Specialist. During his tenure at Cray and SGI as Marketing Director, Sales Director, and Managing Director, he played a major role in shaping the HPC market in Japan. He later went on to be Executive Vice President of Engineous Software, Inc. and Representative Director/President of Engineous Japan, Inc., covering the Asia/Pacific Region where he consecutively generated more than 50% of the company's worldwide revenue. Most recently, Mr. Kato was the General Manager of SLM Asia/Pacific at Dassault Systemes Simulia Corp. as result of the Engineous acquisition of Dassault Systemes. Mr. Kato is often invited as keynote speaker and lecturer for various academic and industrial institutions. He holds an MS Degree from the Pennsylvania State University and was elected as a fellow member of JSME (Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers) for his contribution on Computational Mechanics and Design Engineering.

Doug Campbell ist seit 2005 bei MSC Software tätig, seit 2007 ist er Vizepräsident und Leiter der Rechtsabteilung. Davor hat Campbell beim NASDAQ-notierten Unternehmen Kendle International Inc. sowie bei Electronic Data Systems Corporation die Rechtsabteilung geleitet. Zudem war Campbell bei Structural Dynamics Research Corporation in verschiedenen Bereichen tätig und Partner in der Anwaltskanzlei Donsmore & Shohl, LLP in Cincinnati, Ohio. Campbell hat einen Bachelor of Science in Wissenschaftsgeschichte und hat an der University of Michigan promoviert.

Anish Patankar is the Vice President and Chief Information Officer (CIO) for MSC Software. In this position, Anish is responsible for the global IT strategy, infrastructure and services. The IT strategy at MSC Software is based on strong focus on the 4 Cs of Information Technology – Cloud, Consolidation, Compliance and Cost. The IT organization is a global function, leveraging the organization models of outsourcing and off-shore management with an aim to serve needs of a global company. Anish brings to this position 25 years of IT leadership experience in the high tech industry. He has served in various IT leadership positions at Symantec and BMC Software to manage global business systems, technology infrastructure and service management functions. Anish has a bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering from University of Mumbai, India.

With over 15 years working in Strategy, Product Management, and Product Marketing roles in North America and Europe, Mr. Jeancolas brings extensive domain knowledge of Virtual Product Prototyping solutions, Product Life-cycle Management (PLM), Computer Aided Design (CAD), and Computer Aided Engineering (CAE). Mr. Jeancolas received a Mechanical Engineering Diploma from the University of Technology of Compiegne, France in 2000 and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Houston in 2001. He started his career at HKS, Inc renamed Abaqus, Inc, later acquired by Dassault Systemes and joined MSC Software in 2012. As the Director of Product Management and Global Marketing, Mr. Jeancolas is responsible for the company’s inbound and outbound marketing activities.

Diego d’Udekem leads Free Field Technologies, the MSC Software company focused on acoustic, vibro-acoustic and aero-acoustic CAE. During his 12 years tenure at FFT Diego has occupied various management positions including head of customer support, application engineering and global business development. Diego holds a master in electromechanical engineering from the Free University of Brussels (2004) and an International MBA from the Vlerick Business School (2012).

Roger Assaker

Michael Wohlmuth

Mr. Wohlmuth, together with Dr. Hendrik Schafstall, manages Simufact Engineering, which both of them founded in 1995, bringing more than 20 years of experience with manufacturing simulation to MSC. In the early days of the company, he was engaged in software development and engineering services. Today, as CEO of Simufact, he is responsible for sales, marketing and business development. Before Simufact, Mr. Wohlmuth held a position as a sales manager at a CAD company. His academic degrees are from the University of the Federal Armed Forces (German Army) in Hamburg, Germany. From this University he holds a Master Degree in mechanical engineering and he also worked there for several years as a research associate. Mr. Wohlmuth started his career at the German Army where he served as an officer.

Mr. Masayuki Kuba holds a master's degree from Kyoto University and has over 25 years of experience in the CAE industry. Mr. Kuba began his career with Asahi Kasei Corporation, formerly Asahi Chemical Industry Co., Ltd, as a CAE engineer and worked on plant design and residential environment. As a longtime technical leader at Software Cradle, Mr. Kuba has led and supported many user analysis cases, as well as managing the development group for over 10 years and is committed to providing the most reliable and efficient software solutions.

Marius Dupuis

Mr. Dupuis holds a degree as "Diplom" engineer in aerospace from Stuttgart University. He began his professional career in 1995 at Eurocopter, Germany in the field of flight simulation for engineering purposes. Mr. Dupuis co-founded VIRES in late 1996 and began working full-time as General Manager of VIRES in 1998. He has been with VIRES ever-since and is fully dedicated to participating in the development of VIRES software.
