MSC Software 2007 Americas
Virtual Product Development Conference
October 11-12, 2007
Gaining Competitive Advantage through Engineering Productivity
We invite you to participate in the MSC Software Virtual Product Development Conference 2007. The VPD Conference is the premier event in the MSC Software calendar, bringing together executives, managers, engineering technologists, designers, and academics from the United States and beyond.
The past 12 months have seen a dramatic step-change in the release of new technology. Integrated multi-disciplinary solvers, new CAD embedded tools, template-based simulation with knowledge capture and re-use, and collaborative process and data management environments - MD Nastran, SimDesigner, SimXpert and SimManager, the components of the collective SimEnterprise environment.
Our 2007 Conference addresses the technologies and management of Virtual Product Development, providing a consolidated review of the simulation capabilities available today, and a perspective of trends and developments over the next 12 months. Through a full program of invited presentations it also celebrates the best in industrial and development applications, VPD processes, and software environments of the MSC User community.
To this end we are currently seeking proposals for presentation at the Conference. Through these presentations we aim to capture the essences of innovative application, collaborative best-practice, and harmonized software deployment which the Conference promotes.
As in previous years, we anticipate numerous high quality presentation proposals. We sincerely hope that you will take this opportunity to join MSC Software and our Partners, and to contribute to the success of the Conference by sharing your aspirations, insights, and experiences with our assembled audience.
"SimEnterprise creates the MSC vision of the engineering enterprise environment of the 21st Century. ...Think of it as an innovation enabler on steroids." |
At this stage, we only require an abstract with summary details of your proposed presentation. Please see the Abstract Submission Form and associated Conditions attached for details. Please note that abstract submissions close on Friday, June 29, 2007.
University Track
We are pleased to announce an education track for our 2007 VPD Conference. This special track is meant to enable and encourage university faculty to present their experiences, insights, and recommendations based on their innovative use of MSC products in their teaching activities. Time will be set aside for faculty to network with peers and MSC experts, as well as for group-discussion regarding ways by which simulation software can best be used to complement the theory and principles taught in engineering courses – at the undergraduate or graduate level.
Industry Track: Technical & Technology Customer PresentationsTechnical presentations demonstrate how you are using design simulation to evaluate product performance earlier in the development cycle. Technology tracks will cover various industries, technologies and products. Suggested topics include: Industry Applications: Software Applications: |
