Meet Our People

The best way to get a sense of the kinds of people who are at MSC is to hear from them in their own words. We've asked people from a variety of roles and at different points in their careers to tell a little about themselves, their experiences and their thoughts about working here.

 

Michel Samah

Michel started working for MSC Software in 2004. He currently works in development as a product designer. Michel obtained his MS in mechanical engineering with a focus on Robotics from McGill University in Montreal, Canada.

Dr. Tim Kuhlmann

Tim has been with MSC Software for 23 years and is currently the product manager for MSC Patran. Tim has worked in the area of finite element analysis and numerical simulation his whole career, having earned a PhD from the University of California, Davis in 1991.

Huy Pham

Huy joined MSC after graduating from University of California, Irvine with a BS in mechanical engineering in 1997 and in 2004 with a MS in mechanical engineering. He is responsible for technical support calls and teaching classes for various MSC products, including Nastran, Patran, Sinda and SimXpert.

Vivien Zhang

Vivien started working for MSC Software in 2010. She obtained her BS from Beijing Language and Culture University. Vivien has more than 10 years marketing experience and is currently in charge marketing for MSC Software's APAC region.
