Company Overview

ACUSIM Software, Inc. is the developer of AcuSolve, the pre-eminent finite element based Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) flow software in the market. AcuSolve is being used in a wide variety of industries and runs on a wide range of UNIX/Linux platforms and Windows 2000/XP/CCS in both 32bit and 64bit modes. AcuSolve was architected to execute in parallel and performance scales whether on a desktop PC with 2 processors or a large parallel cluster with 512 processors. ACUSIM Software has customers in North America, South America, Europe, India, Japan, and Southeast Asia.

Partner Relationship

AcuSolve is 100% interoperable with FluidConnection and the two products are in production usage at a number of joint customers, including a key application presented at the MSC 2007 VPD Conference http://www.mscsoftware.com/events/vpd2007/na/presentations/49.pdf

Additionally, the partnership is developing interoperability for Fluid Structure Interaction (FSI) Simulation. Current supported analysis types are linear structural deformations where MD.Nastran modal analysis data is imported into AcuSolve for the prediction of structural deformation under fluid loadings.
