MSC.Software Appoints Jack Varney Vice President
Senior enterprise sales training executive to lead global learning and development activities for MSC
SANTA ANA, CALIF. - FEBRUARY 15, 2006 - MSC.Software Corp. (OTC: MNSC), the leading global provider of enterprise simulation solutions, today announced the appointment of Jack Varney as vice president, global learning and development.
"Adding a senior global sales training executive to our team will further the goal of selling large enterprise software solutions to our global accounts," commented Glenn Wienkoop, president and COO of MSC Software. "Jack's first priority will be the development and implementation of a world-wide sales training curriculum to support MSC's transition to enterprise sales activities. Mr. Varney has over 20 year of marketing and sales training knowledge with both technology and enterprise software firms and was most recently the director of global sales training at Electronic Data Systems. He also held senior sales training and marketing positions at Standard Register and Pitney Bowes.
