The Sinda family of thermal design products has been relied on by aerospace and high technology companies worldwide for 50 years. MSC Sinda Visio Office Toolkit and Thermal Studio are two modules of Sinda which are included in MSC Sinda basic package. Sinda Visio Office Toolkit allows you to set up a network model of a ‘Thermal System’ by creating diffusion nodes that represent ‘lumped masses’ of various sections of a large model, connecting them to each other with conductive, convective or radiative resistors, heat sources in a flow chart like manner. When you run the network model, it generates a Sinda file automatically. Thus a 20 or 30 node models can be run with many what if scenarios to get a ‘feel of the thermal system behavior’ during initial design phase.
