RESEARCH GOALS: Mr. Martinez and the Instituto Politecnico Nacional are working to increase the reliability of prediction life using stochastic analysis.
METHODS:
MSC RESEARCH ASSIST AWARD: Mr. Martinez and the Instituto Politecnico Nacional were awarded MSC Fatigue to evaluate steering knuckle and mounting bracket part components by applying different tracks with variable amplitude loads.
BIO: Mr. Martinez holds a MSc and B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the National Polytechnic Institute. He has five years of experience as a Developmental Engineer for the Mexican Petroleum Institute (IMP) developing tools and equipment for onshore and offshore petroleum operations. He has also worked as a CAD/CAE engineer and a test engineer for Passive Safety.
Mr. Martinez is currently working as a test engineer, specializing in fatigue testing at Volkswagen de Mexico. He has participated in National and International Congresses and is a co-author of a patent for the petroleum industry.
