BIO: Mr. Priyam Mohanty earned a Master of Science degree in Advanced Lightweight Structures and Impact from Cranfield University, United Kingdom in 2012. He obtained his Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), India, in 2005. Since 2015, he is working as Deputy Director, Research & Development at KIIT University in India.
Mr. Mohanty has 8 years of professional experience in the aerospace industry, ranging from Technology Services (Stress and F&DT Substantiation) to Management (Project Management, Team Management, Technical Training, Project Execution and Quality Review). He primarily works with R&D organizations such as National Aerospace Laboratories-India, OEMs such as Safran Group and MNCs like Assystem & Mahindra Group. He was involved in designing and validating aerospace structures for global aircraft manufacturers and preparing justification and certification reports.
Mr. Mohanty's current research interests include Damage Mechanics, Lightweight Structures, Finite Element Analysis, Crashworthiness of Space & Aerospace Structures.
