NASTRAN 120 CD

The NAS120 CD is an interactive multimedia CD-ROM that introduces the use of MSC.Nastran Version 70.7 in conjunction with MSC.Patran Version 9.0 to new users. This unique program will help engineers master the basic skills required to use MSC.Patran as a pre- and post-processor for MSC.Nastran in typical engineering analysis applications. Concepts are presented in a series of 12 hands-on case studies, each of which demonstrates a major MSC.Nastran analysis approach. These case studies cover such analysis types as linear static, normal modes, and buckling. They cover such MSC.Patran topics as building/importing geometry, meshing, material and element property creation, load creation, analysis setup, and results postprocessing. In addition to the 12 case studies, the NAS120 CD integrates a complete set of course notes for the MSC.Nastran 120 class.
