Using the File Server Option on Windows, the Acrobat Reader executable is used from the file server, not the local machine. This executable must be set as shared for client machines to access it.

ADAMS 12.0 on Windows

ADAMS 12.0 on Windows requires the Microsoft Visual C/C++ Service Pack 5 DLLs. You can install these required DLLs by selecting "I need runtime DLLs installed" from the "Select Desktop Icons" dialog during an ADAMS Client install.

You need administrator privilege to do this.

HP-UX 11.0 Runtime Library issue

ADAMS 12.0 on HP-UX 11.0 requires the installation of HP patch PHSS_22543. If you do not have this patch installed, you will receive an error message similar to:

Error Message: usr/lib/dld.sl: Unresolved symbol:
id__Q2_3std7codecvtXTcTcT9mbstate_t_ (data) from /opt/adams12/hpux11/libreg.sl
