ADAMS/Aircraft
In addition to the enhancements listed for all Template-Based
Products, added F1 dialog box help for all of the ADAMS/Aircraft dialog
boxes to help you learn what values to enter. Press F1 when an
ADAMS/Aircraft dialog box is active. Updated the online help and tutorials
to match the interface improvements.
ADAMS/AutoFlex
Converted the reference documentation to HTML format. Also, created a
guide, Getting Started Using ADAMS/AutoFlex,
which contains the tutorials for learning ADAMS/AutoFlex. We've also added
two new tutorials to the guide, which describe the new features for ADAMS/AutoFlex.
Included links under the Examples tab to four examples of using the new
features of ADAMS/AutoFlex, which are located in the MSC.ADAMS Knowledge
Base.

help you learn what values to enter. Press F1 when an ADAMS/AutoFlex
dialog box is active.
ADAMS/Car
In addition to the enhancements listed for all Template-Based
Products, added information about designing templates and creating
topology for templates. Updated the analysis information, and created
lists of frequently asked questions and keyboard shortcuts.
ADAMS/Car Ride
Introduced information about the new product, ADAMS/Car Ride, including
both reference information and dialog box help. We also created a tutorial
for you to quickly learn the basics of the product.
ADAMS/Chassis
Incorporated the ADAMS/Chassis help with the other MSC.ADAMS help, and
included a search facility. Improved the layout of the online help and
the structure of the information. Documented the new interface, and included
examples of how to use the Build, Test, and Review work modes.
ADAMS/Controls
Converted reference material to HTML, and added much more reference material
to it. Added F1 dialog box help for all of the ADAMS/Controls dialog boxes
to help you learn what values to enter. Press F1 when an ADAMS/Controls
dialog box is active. Updated the online help and tutorials to match the
interface improvements.
ADAMS/Driveline
In addition to the enhancements listed for all Template-Based
Products, created both F1 dialog box help and reference information
for all components. Updated and reorganized the analyses information.
ADAMS/Driver
Made several improvements to the guide, including improving the display
of images.
ADAMS/Durability
Updated the online help and tutorial to match the interface improvements.
Included links under the Examples tab to examples of using the new features
of ADAMS/Durability, which are located in the MSC.ADAMS Knowledge Base.
ADAMS/Engine—powered by FEV
In addition to the enhancements listed for all Template-Based
Products, documented 20 templates and updated the existing documentation
for ADAMS/Engine product enhancements.
ADAMS/Flex
Converted the reference documentation to HTML format and updated it for
2003 improvements, including adding information on the new marker capabilities
when using the C++ version of ADAMS/Solver.Created a guide, Getting
Started Using ADAMS/Flex, which contains the tutorials for learning
ADAMS/AutoFlex.
Added F1 dialog box help for all of the ADAMS/Flex dialog boxes to help
you learn what values to enter. Press F1 when an ADAMS/Flex dialog
box is active.
ADAMS/Hydraulics
Updated the online help and Component Reference
Guide with information about the new Gas Charged Accumulator and
Spool Valve components, and revised the documentation for several existing
component parameters.
ADAMS/Insight
Converted the reference guide from PDF to HTML. Also, added a new tutorial
guide, Using ADAMS/Insight with ASCII Conduit.
Updated the online help and tutorials to match the interface improvements.
ADAMS/PostProcessor
Converted the reference documentation to HTML format, and updated the
documentation for 2003 improvements, including information on the new
HTML reporting publishing and 3D FFT. Created a guide, Getting
Started Using ADAMS/PostProcessor, which contains the tutorial
for learning ADAMS/PostProcessor.
Added F1 dialog box help for the ADAMS/PostProcessor property editor
and dashboard to help you learn what values to enter. Press F1
when an ADAMS/PostProcessor property editor or dashboard is active (the
cursor is in a text box).
ADAMS/Rail
In addition to the enhancements listed for all Template-Based
Products, created F1 dialog box help for seven analyses.
ADAMS/Tire
Updated the guides for 2003 improvements, including adding more descriptions
of parameters.
ADAMS/Solver
Converted ADAMS/Solver Subroutines and other reference material from PDF
to HTML format. Created separate documentation for C++ and FORTRAN versions
of ADAMS/Solver. Added three new subroutines.
Made it easier to print all statements, functions, commands, or subroutines
by adding a print button that displays a PDF. Print the PDF to get a printout
of all statements, functions, commands, or subroutines.
- For ADAMS/Solver (C++): Added information
on new elements such as GCON and QDOT. Updated existing material specifically
for the C++ version. Added a Frequently Asked Questions list to explain
why certain elements are not supported in ADAMS/Solver (C++).

(FORTRAN): Updated existing material for 2003 enhancements, including
CONTACT and CURVE statements.
ADAMS/Vibration
Updated the online help and tutorial to match the interface improvements.

of ADAMS/Vibration, which are located in the MSC.ADAMS Knowledge Base.
ADAMS/View Function Builder
Added descriptions of new functions and added dialog box help to several
assist dialog boxes. Made links to functions that are supported in only
ADAMS/Durability, ADAMS/Solver (C++), and Template-Based Products.
ADAMS/View
Converted the reference documentation to HTML format. Added information
on the new features of ADAMS/View, including viewing 3D splines and contact
force improvements, and a new tutorial on using the ADAMS/View Controls
toolkit.
Setup Guides
Updated the guides to match the improvements to running and configuring
MSC.ADAMS products.
Template-Based Products
For ADAMS/Aircraft, ADAMS/Car, ADAMS/Driveline, ADAMS/Engine, and ADAMS/Rail:

Converted all guides from PDF to HTML format.

Updated and consolidated the information for templates, subsystems,
and assemblies.

Assembled information about basic tasks you can perform in your template-based
product (such as navigating through a modeling database, setting display
options, and using wildcards)

Enhanced the information about components, including the descriptions
of the bushing, spring, air spring, bumpstop, condition sensors, and
reboundstop components.

Updated the configuration information to reflect changes to the database
search order and the plugin configuration for the Functional Digital
Vehicle. Also, added a list of environment variables.
