| 1For correct operation of the Intel Fortran compiler, MS DevStudio 6.6 or Compaq Visual Fortran 6.6B must be installed prior to installing the Intel compiler. |
| 2With MSC.Dytran 2004, the following configurations are no longer supported: |

| Sun: Solaris 7 |
|

| With MSC.Dytran 2004, the following configurations are supported by the above builds: |

| Windows: Intel Pentium IV (NT, Win2k, XP) (tested) |

| SGI: R8k (not tested) |

| Sun: Solaris 5.9 (tested) |

| Intel Linux: MSC.Linux (tested) |

| In most cases, MSC.Dytran 2004 wil run on higher OS levels. It has been found that MSC.Dytran 2004 will not run on the following configurations: |
| Intel Linux: RedHat 9.0 |

|
|
|
| 3The LS-DYNA and LS-DYNA-DMP options on Unix and Linux will become available during Q2 of 2004. |

|
|
| 4On Windows and Linux computers, FLEXlm licensing for MSC.Dytran requires that your computer have an Ethernet card, even if your computer is not connected to a network. |
