This standalone dmap is only needed to generate a flow field in the form of a punch file for the propf.for program. Solution Sequence SOL 145. Input Call MSC and request a copy of the documentation. Output Standard MSC/NASTRAN output. If downwash effects are to be included, then a punch file is generated in the phase 1 run. Sample Files: prop1.dat Demonstrates the inclusion of the propeller effects in an aerodynamic flutter analysis. In this example, the downwash effects are not included, so a single MSC/NASTRAN analysis is performed. The propeller effects are included with DMIG entries generated with the propf.for preprocessor. prop2.dat Generates a flow field in the form of a punch file that is used as input to the propf.for preprocessor. The purpose of this run is only to generate the flow field, not to perform a flutter analysis. The flutter analysis is performed in prop3.dat, which is run after the propf.for preprocessor. prop3.dat This file is run after prop2.dat and the preprocessor propf.for. The propeller effects with the downwash effect included are in the DMIG entries generated by the preprocessor. Additional Documentation W. P. Rodden and T. L.
