Alter to Calculate the Forces in GENEL Elements in a
Modal Transient Solution

Purpose


To calculate the forces resulting from a GENEL element in SOL 112.


Solution Sequence

SOL 112.

Include 'genela.v707'.
 
Case Control

OLOAD output request for any GRID point the GENEL
connects to.
 
Bulk Data

No special input required.


Output

The GENEL forces are printed out using the LOAD VECTOR printout. 
This printout is preceded and followed by messages identifying it as
the forces in GENEL elements.


Limitations

Available only in SOL 112.


Sample Files

genel1.dat  Modal transient analysis of a model with a CELAS2
element connecting two grid points.

genel2.dat  Identical to genel1.dat.  Only a GENEL is used to
replace the CELAS2.
