2007r2 PDF Help Files Compatibility Error
On all UNIX/Linux installations of Patran 2007 r2 there is a PDF compatibility error.
This error brings up a warning message in Acrobat when opening any of the
*_library.pdf files.
To fix this PDF error for any Patran 2007 r2 installation on UNIX or Linux,
follow these steps:
- Copy the file patran_2007r2_pdf_helpfix.tar.gz to the pdf_patran directory in the helpfiles directory of the Patran 2007 r2 installation.
- Unzip and un-tar the file.
It will replace the PDF files, all of the index files and the index directories
at the top level of the pdf_patran directory. Nothing inside of the docs
directory is replaced.
When you open any of the *library.pdf files, you should see no error messages.
