MSC.Fatigue Pre&Post
8.0 - ANSYS 5.5 Results Reader Update
Description
This ANS5PAT3 executable is necessary
to read ANSYS 5.5 results (.rst) files into MSC.Fatigue Pre&Post 8.0.
Both ANSYS 5.4 and 5.5 results files are supported with this executable.
Installation
1. Copy the correct compressed tar or zip file to your "<P3_HOME>"
directory depending on the platform of interest (e.g., c:\msc\fatigue80
or /msc/fatigue80).
2. For UNIX, gunzip the file
and untar it. For example:
gunzip fat80_ans5pat3_sgi.tar.gz
tar xvf fat80_ans5pat3_sgi.tar
3. For NT, unzip the file into
the installation directory.
This operation will replace the old ANS5PAT3 executable with the new one.
