MSC.FlightLoads V2001 R3 Patch
Description
This patch is created to correct several limitations and issues in MSC.FlightLoads
2001 R3 release. The following is the list of the limitations and issues that
have been fixed in this patch.
- Traceback no longer occurs when trying to open the Loads Browser.
- Loads Browser can now handle result types partially associated with all
entities.
- Results form refreshes correctly between trim and unit solutions. The units
solution displays in the results form.
- Date displayed in the info window is the PLB and shared library build date.
- Spline Verify no longer crashes randomly especially when running with large
models.
Installation
Unix/Linux platforms
- Download the patch flds_2001r3_patch_<MACHINE>.tar.gz where
<MACHINE> is one of these labels DECA, HP700, LX86, RS6K, SGI5
and SUNS indicating a specific unix platform.
- Uncompress the patch file by typing
gzip -d flds_2001r3_patch_<MACHINE>.tar.gz
- Untar the uncompressed file by typing
tar -xvf flds_2001r3_patch_<MACHINE>.tar
- Four files should be extracted. They are p3flds.plb, LoadsBrowser.plb,
LoadsBrowser_Common.plb, and libaero.<EXT> where <EXT>
varies with unix platforms. Replace p3flds.plb, LoadsBrowser.plb
and LoadsBrowser_Common.plb in P3_HOME with the new ones. Replace libaero.<EXT>
in P3_HOME/lib with the new one.
WINNT platform
- Download the patch flds_2001r3_patch_WINNT.zip.
- Use PKZIP or WINZIP programs to unzip flds_2001r3_patch_WINNT.zip.
- Four files should be extracted. They are p3flds.plb, LoadsBrowser.plb,
LoadsBrowser_Common.plb and aero.dll. Replace p3flds.plb,
LoadsBrowser.plb and LoadsBrowser_Common.plb in P3_HOME with
the new ones. Replace aero.dll in P3_HOME/bin/exe with the new one.
