Description
PTC Pro/FEMPOST module requires msc2ptc program to convert MSC.Nastran
xdb result file to Pro/FEMPOST fmr result file.
Intel Windows-NT installation
Download msc2ptc.zip
(287K). Unzip it into a directory (suggested default C:\msc\msc2ptc).
If necessary, modify the parameters at the beginning of the msc2ptc.batfile.
Follow the instructions at the beginning of msc2ptc.bat and the Pro/FEMPOST
manual.
UNIX Installation
- Download the files nast705.gz
and m2p_dsc.gz.
- Uncompress both of these files
using GZIP (If you do not have the GZIP utility, you may download
a copy for free).
- Copy the nast705 file
to <msc_install_directory>/bin/nast705
- Also copy the nast705
file to <msc_install_directory>/bin/msc705
Copy the m2p_dsc file to <msc_install_directory>/msc705<msc_arch>/m2p.dsc,
where <msc_arch> represents the directory applicable to your computer.
