- PAT3FAT Update
Description
This PAT3FAT executable fixes the following problem(s):
1. Incorrect averaging of stress
results. This manifests itself when results only exist on a portion of
the model or the model consists of a variety of element types yet the group
chosen is for only a certain type of element. In some cases the work around
was to set the averaging method to Group instead of Global in the General Setup
Parameters. For other circumstances, there was no workaround. (CSR 33919)
Installation
1. Copy the correct compressed tar or zip file to your "<P3_HOME>"
directory depending on the platform of interest.
(i.e. --> c:\msc\patran80)
2. For UNIX, gunzip the file and
untar it. For example:
gunzip pat3fat_sgi.tar.gz
tar xvf pat3fat_sgi.tar
3. For NT, unzip the file into the
installation directory.
