MSC.Fatigue 8.0 Spot Weld
Analyzer - SPOTW Update
Description
This SPOTW executable fixes the following problem(s):
1. Performance regression from
Version 6 to Version 8. (CSR 35308)
A representative
spot weld model ran in:
V6 code
V8 code Updated code
4 h 25 m
7 h 51 m 3 h 38 m
The results are
identical between versions.
Installation
1. Copy the correct compressed tar or zip file to your "<P3_HOME>" directory
depending on the platform of interest.
(i.e. --> c:\msc\patran80)
2. For UNIX, gunzip the file and
untar it. For example:
gunzip spotw_hpux.tar.gz
tar xvf spotw_hpux.tar
3. For NT, unzip the file into the
installation directory.
