The Output Requests form is used to request results from the ANSYS analysis for use in postprocessing results file, and verification (output file). After the desired results have been requested, the settings can be accepted by selecting the OK button at the bottom of the form. If the Cancel button is selected instead, the form will be closed without any changes being accepted. Selecting the Defaults button resets the form to the initial default settings. The appearance of the form changes based upon the Preference selected. Versions for ANSYS Revisions 4.4A and 5.0 are described in the following pages.

The results types brought into Patran, due to any of these requests, is documented in Results Created in Patran. Tables are presented there which associate the ANSYS results items to the Patran primary and secondary results labels.
