Volumetric Generation
The Volumetric Generation supports 1D, 2D or 3D target (all element targets for which a volume can be computed). Volumetric Heat Generation refers to heat per volume.
Volumetric Generation includes a total heat option, which provides the total amount for uniform volumetric distribution throughout the whole application region. For each element, the total heat is multiplied by the ratio of element volume to the total volume for the application region. When the Total Heat option is checked, volumetric heat generation will change to total volumetric heat generation, and the Spatial Field window will be grayed out. Total volumetric heat generation will not support spatial fields. For the total volume heat options, a uniform distribution is automatically assumed, so the spatial field becomes irrelevant.
