Patran Materials Enterprise uses a login procedure which provides controlled access to the data stored in MSC Enterprise Mvision. Upon successful login, the application stores your login name and password for continued use within the current Patran session. If a launch is accompanied with valid login data, the interface will automatically log in without displaying a Login Frame.
To login to Patran Materials Enterprise, type a valid user name into the EMV User Name field and password into EMV User Password field of the Login screen and press OK. Pressing Cancel closes the Login screen.

Upon successful login, the Login screen closes and the disclaimer for the default databank is displayed. In the following figure, the disclaimer is displayed for the default databank, Demo Metals. Click OK to dismiss the disclaimer and access the Materials Browser frame to begin the material selection process.
