The Materials Selector form, shown below, displays materials information from the current MSC Mvision database and provides the following functions for accessing the materials information.
Materials Selector Spreadsheet
The main part of the Materials Selector form is the spreadsheet-like area dominating its middle. This is your first look at the MSC Mvision database and is called the Materials List. Its features are described below.
Query Command Textbox
The Query is a database command that limits the materials used by the Materials Selector. Queries can be typed in the Query Command textbox or you can pick the Query button to get a special form that will assist in the creation of a valid query.
Note: | If you wish to clear the query condition on the database, first clear the Query Command textbox and then pick Apply. |
Column Headers Form
The Select Attributes List is placed on the Materials form and assigns MSC Mvision database attributes to the columns of the Materials List. The Materials List extracts these selected attributes from the current database.
