Mapping Templates
Mapping Templates contain display and attribute mapping for specific MSC Mvision databases. When you open an MSC Mvision database, the Materials Selector opens a corresponding database template. The template contains the attribute information used on the Select Attributes form and the Mapping Attributes form. You may modify the template and save it or call a new template by picking Mapping Template from the Mapping MSC Mvision Attributes to Patran Material Properties, 47 form. The Mapping Template File Option form is shown below.
Open Mapping Templates
The Open Mapping Template form reads in a new database template. These templates are associated with specific MSC Mvision databases and establish default mappings between the MSC Mvision database and Patran.

To move up to the /patran3 directory click on /.. and pick Filter or click twice on the /.. directory.
Save As Mapping Templates
The Save As Mapping Templates form saves the current database mapping templates with a new name.
