For constant amplitude zero mean time histories, there is an environment keyword that allows life to be calculated directly from the true max-min cycle, which is stored along with the matrix. Set the environment variable PFCONAMP to ON. Use the MENM utility to do this. Refer to Section 16.7 for details.
