This chapter provides an overview of performing a Viewfactor analysis. It describes how the Viewfactor code is related to the other Patran products (Patran and Volume 1 of Patran Thermal) showing the high level data and program flow in Viewfactor. It summarizes the typical analysis cycle for a thermal radiation problem using Patran.
