Problem: Create and generate animations and charts of simulation results for visualization of motion simulations.

1) Change the loop option to Oscillate Once. (This replays the animation forward and in reverse for one complete cycle.)

2) Adjust the animation speed slider as desired.

3) Click the Play animation button to view the modified animation.

4) Pause the animation.

5) Move through the frames with the Current slider bar.

1) Select the Camera option.

2) Select Follow Object.

3) Select the Ball for motion part.

4) Select the Animation option.

5) Click Play to view the modified option. Note: The ball does not appear to be moving because it is the object being tracked. This can be a useful tool for animations in more complex motion models.

6) Return to the Camera form section.

7) Reset the option to No Tracking.

1) Click on Results then choose Chart.

2) Select the simulation that you completed earlier.

3) Select Ball as the Entity.

4) Select Z as the Quantity.

5) Click Add Curves. This plots the Z position of the ball versus time.

1) Click Clear Chart.

2) Select the Independent Data Tab.

3) Clear the checkbox for Time.

4) Select the simulation.

5) Select Ball as the Entity.

6) Select X as the Quantity.

7) Select the Dependent Data Tab.

8) Select Ball as the Entity.

9) Select Z as the quantity.

10) Click Add Curves. This plots the path of the ball during the simulation.

1) Select the simulation.

2) Select Ball as the Entity.

3) Select VZ as the Quantity.

4) Click Add Curves. This adds the Z velocity curve to the existing plot. Note: You may currently have at most two dependent axes and one independent axis at a time for a chart. To plot additional data, you must first clear the chart.

1) On the Window menu choose Arrange.

2) Select a two window configuration as shown, and click OK.

3) Double click Animation_001 in the tree.

4) Click the Play button.
