MSC CFD Solutions - to be included in MSC One commencing July 2017

Your tokens now give you access to MSC Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) solutions!

SC/Tetra is a general purpose thermo-fluid simulation software that uses a hybrid mesh to accurately represent complex shapes and model geometry. Features such as a sophisticated mesh generation system, high speed computing, low memory consumption, and a user-friendly interface throughout to increase user efficiency.

Some specific areas where SC/Tetra performs exceptionally well, include: aero-acoustics (due to the coupling with MSC Actran, also available in MSCOne), rotating machinery (such as fans, pumps, compressors, blowers, motors, gas turbines, hydro turbines), drag, lift, and torque predictions in a variety of vehicles and structures, as well as CFD applications in UAVs, and powertrains.

scSTREAM addresses the needs of electronics industry by providing high accuracy and high efficiency CFD. With its uber-user-friendly interface and implementation of a structured Cartesian mesh that's easy to construct, and fast to solve, scStream provides accurate CFD results.

It is a great application for thermal analysis of electronic enclosures, Printed Circuit Board (PCB), and IC chips, various industrial furnaces, thermal simulations of an engine compartments and for solving other multiphase problems.

Adams Real Time - is now included in your MSC One

With Adams Real Time, analysts can reuse the same base model for high fidelity off-line simulations, through SIL (Software-in-the-loop) to HIL (Hardware-in-the-loop) and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) applications. This one tool / one model approach has the potential to remove weeks from the typical vehicle development program and save tens of thousands of dollars by eliminating the error-prone model translations between different tools.

MSC Nastran Advanced Nonlinear module (SOL400) - makes it possible for MSC Nastran users to add advanced nonlinear capabilities to their already existing linear models without leaving their familiar simulation platform. You can analyze a wide variety of structural problems subjected to geometric and material nonlinearity, in addition to contact and assemblies.

Adams MaxFlex is based on the implicit nonlinear finite element analysis. This MSC Adams feature, allows for the representation of geometric nonlinearity (i.e., large deformations), material nonlinearity, and boundary condition nonlinearity in Multi-Body Dynamics Adams models. While FEA technology is used to represent and solve the nonlinear flexible body, it is embedded wholly within Adams, so no additional FEA software is required to solve the model.
