Greetings MSC Technology Partners

We’re starting 2016 on the momentum of several key product releases, with more to come in the first half of the year. We encourage you to take advantage of our efforts to improve performance, usability, and exciting new features.

As always, we welcome the opportunity to discuss co-marketing options with you, from webinars to case studies, conferences to key account strategy sessions.

I look forward to the opportunity to connect with many of you over the course of the year, at events, over the phone, or even by email. If there is anything MSC’s Technology Partner Program can be doing to better serve you, please let me know.

Warm Regards,
John Janevic

MSC Apex Eagle Release

The members of a helicopter structural frame are modeled as beams. Each beam may be interactively repositioned.

On February 8, MSC announced the fifth release of MSC Apex Modeler - a CAE Specific direct modeling and meshing solution that accelerates the CAD clean-up, simplification, and meshing workflow. Simultaneously, MSC released the third release of MSC Apex Structures - an add-on to MSC Apex Modeler which expands MSC Apex to a fully integrated and generative structural analysis solution.

The new Eagle release delivers innovative solutions for modeling and validating complex assemblies with the introduction of new part representations and connection types. These new features are all fully integrated in the MSC Apex generative framework that supports the automatic regeneration of simulation results when changes are made to part geometry or assembly layout.

The Eagle release also introduces the first MSC Apex Student Edition. Students around the world can download it free for use on their personal desktops by visiting
