The 2005 MSC.Software Virtual Product Development (VPD) Conference Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA) at the Hilton Park Hotel in Munich again gathered over 500 attendees including engineering teams,
press and management executives from over 30 countries. Sponsored by IBM, Intel, sgi, Microsoft, HP, AMD and Dassault Systemes the three-day event in Munich was accompanied by a technology exhibition of
20 software, services and hardware partners. The exhibition was enhanced with displays from MSC.Software showing the three product families of MSC.Software - SimOffice, MSC.SimManager, and SimDesigner.
A wide bandwidth of keynote, technology track and poster presentations gave a detailed overview
of MSC.Software's VPD strategy and latest trends in industries like automotive, aerospace, biomedical, civil
engineering, electronics & electromechanical, general machinery, military & defense, packaging, rail, research & development, offshore, shipbuilding and
sports & leisure. In addition to the informative presentation tracks Special Interest Groups stimulated a more interactive discussion and exchange of ideas.
The Conference also provided ample opportunities for networking with peers, partners and MSC.Software experts. Especially the relaxed atmosphere of the social evening events has been very conductive to further
informal discussion.
